Clay Foutch has been in the In-Home Care business in the Portland area since founding the company in 2007. A Board Member for the Alzheimer’s Association and a graduate of the University of Wisconsin have helped shaped how he built and runs the organization. As President of Home Matters Caregiving, his greatest skill is in assembling a qualified team to carry out his company’s mission. A mission to provide exceptional care to the aging population at an affordable cost, and to do so with the most medically competent team in the market. Clay feels strongly that the best way to serve his clients is by providing In-Home Care with the utmost respect and competence allowing his clients to remain in their home safely and independently for as long as possible.
Clarise Beitey has been serving the senior community in the Portland area since 2007. Clarise started her career as the Director of Health Services for the Assisted Living at Cornell Estates in 2013. Clarise also managed the In-Home Care agency within Cornell Estates Retirement Living from 2012 to 2015. This has been her passion and career choice from the very beginning. As the Administrator for Home Matters Caregiving she is serving our team with her extensive experience with the Portland senior community as well as her exceptional skills in compliance and administrative management.
Christina Foutch, OTR
Christina Foutch earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Occupational Therapy from San Jose State University. Her clinical specialty is in the area of geriatric care. Her focus in Alzheimer’s Dementia, Stroke and physical disabilities allows her clients and caregivers an unmatched resource. She is skilled in the areas of transfer and mobility training, behavior modification techniques, and adaptive equipment allowing increased independence, mobility and safety in the home for her clients. Her occupational therapy interventions include home safety evaluations, initial assessments, Advanced Caregiver training and fall prevention education.
Christina is certified by the Alzheimer’s Association to teach their courses throughout Portland. She also runs an Alzheimer’s art program, Memories in the Making, every Friday which is the best part of her week!
Pam Luckman, RN
Pamela, a native Portlander with her Associate’s Degree in Nursing from Clark College in Vancouver, started her career at a skilled nursing center and quickly rose to resident care manager. She then worked in home health care for about three years, her last position as memory health care serves director. While Pamela has a love for all geriatric patients and clients, she has gained particular proficiency in meeting the needs of those suffering dementia disorders, including Alzheimer’s Disease. A Portland Trailblazer’s fan, Pamela is the mother of three and enjoys engaging in arts and crafts, and attending kids’ soccer games. (Not-so-secret: Pamela is engaged to be married in the fall of 2019!)
Becky Litwiller, MHA
Becky Litwiller earned a M.S. in Healthcare Administration and is a graduate of Champlain College and University of Oregon. As the on-site Community Manager at Courtyard Mt. Tabor and Calaroga Terrace, Becky runs the daily operations of both facilities and ensures that the complex needs of her clients are well managed.
Becky is passionate about creating holistic service plans for seniors that embody the mission of Home Matters Caregiving. She ensures that the seniors she is fortunate to serve are maintaining a high quality of life, are safe and are active. Becky is an advocate for seniors and uses her education, compassion and leadership skills to serve the aging population.
Sabrina Clark began with Home Matters Caregiving in 2019 and has since discovered her passion for serving the Senior Community. Sabrina has extensive experience in time management, scheduling and event planning. Sabrina is dedicated to ensuring that our clients and caregiving team are valued and appreciated with every connection. Sabrina has brought a positive attitude and nurturing spirit to our team and continues to shine as our Scheduling Manager with Home Matters Caregiving.
Michelle Salazar has over 11 years of experience working in the senior industry. She is a Certified Nursing Assistant with an emphasis on Hospice Care. Michelle wears many hats for Home Matters Caregiving because she is skilled in all aspects of our business. As the Home Matter’s Recruiting and Weekend Manager, Michelle has the ability to connect with our team of caregivers in a special way. She shines in relationship building which results in caregiver retention and satisfied clients. Most of all, Michelle enjoys working with the senior population and helping those that can’t help themselves. At home, Michelle enjoys reading, swimming, hiking and spending time with her two dogs and cats.
Since 2016 Jessica has been a part of our team and has worn many hats for our organization. From recruiting caregiving team members to managing the schedule she’s a resource for our clients and caregivers. If you call after hours she’s often the voice behind the phone that you’ll hear.
